I've Been Inspired!
While not typically a poetry fan, I did quote a beautiful poem, author unknown, a couple posts below on Saturday, November 8th. If you didn't get to read it, I hope you'll go back and take a look, it's quite fitting for this Thanksgiving season.
Today, after borrowing (ok, stealing) a package of candy from Autumn's Fall Festival loot I was inspired to write my own poem and if you have ever eaten Dots candies I think you will appreciate, or at least relate to it.

Have you considered authoring a poetry book?
I loved the symmetry of your poem, and the way you treated the subject. Well, it was inspiring. Discussing both sides, leaving us unsure as to your own feelings allowing us to make up our own minds. Just kidding! I figured if you were a poet I could pretend to be a critic. Dots are disgusting!
I am also going to leave my two cents worth. Dots are beyond disgusting! Only starvation or something near it could make me want those. Nice poem, though.
I like Dots, which is surprising because I usaully don't like candy that isn't chocolate. Nice poem, you are a much better poet than I.
Dots are yucky. They are Jason's favorite. Enough said...
